05/05/03 Over a year without an update.... sorry folks. Well, I've done quite a bit of updating now. In fact, I rennovated the whole site.

MP3.com now only allows 3 songs per non-paying band, so I've made all 3MD songs available in the [Music] section of this site.

The 3rd album is at a stand-still right now. Tough times, economically, have left me without proper recording equipment. The album is practically written though. Hopefully, I can start recording soon. But for those interested in hearing the new stuff, I searched my computer for demo recordings of riffs and song parts that I did while writing. These sound bytes are available in the [Music] section in the "Unreleased column."

03/05/02 This is where the site shall stay! Nuts to ISP changes.

Some new material is coming along nicely. Some things are at a complete standstill. There is a lot going on right now. This could be the last update for a while, as I don't expect to start recording any time soon.

12/08/01 The site is back up, after being shut down with the Excite @Home bankruptcy. Update your bookmarks to the new URL.

I figured I should add a little something to the site while I was putting it on the new webspace. So you'll notice there is now a lyrics section.

11/16/01 As many of you already know, "Vocals Not Included" is an instrumental cover of Tommy Boyce's "Alice Long (You're Still My Favorite Girlfriend)". I'm still working on getting a license to publish my version of the copyrighted work. This may take some time though, due to the fact that the Harry Fox Agency is running me in circles and I can't seem to contact anyone in EMI Music Publishing that can help me. Enough complaining.....

All of my non-cover songs from both albums are now available on mp3.com. You can also buy a copy of Instrumentals (if you don't already have a copy) from that site. I will put Limited Sight Distance on sale at mp3.com also, as soon as "Vocals Not Included" is legal. Check out all that stuff at 3 Minute Difference on mp3.com

As for new stuff, I've already starting working on 4 new songs. Three are originals that still need some work before I begin recording. The other is a cover of the 4th movement of Mozart's 29 symphony. I am now working on arranging the symphony for 2 guitars.

10/25/01 It's finished!!! I thought this day would never come.

Check out the "Discography" section to see a track listing. I've added some mp3s and midis to the "Hear the Music" section.

There probably won't be much added to this site for a while, as I may need a while to let some new ideas build up. I hope you enjoy the new stuff.

05/28/01 You've probably assumed that I've given up on the new album. As usual, you are wrong. I'm working harder than ever to have the new album done by the end of the summer. I have 6 songs completely finished and 4 others still in the writing/recording/mixing stages. The finished songs are titled:

0.7 Fluid Ounces
Blood Stains
Smiling Back
Thicker Skin
Time Stands Still
Redneck Stomp

"Thicker Skin" has been remixed, but the original is still available on this site. The new mix will appear on the album. I've added some MIDIs of completed songs. Check them out in "Hear the Music" section.

I realize this album is taking a long time to finished. I'm trying to make this album sound as much like a studio album as possible. That's hard for one guy to pull off with just a computer and a guitar. Cut me some slack.

10/27/00 I recorded a new song! How about that. You might remember this one as "The Death of Laughing Man." It now has drums, bass, solos, and vocals. It's called "Thicker Skin." I can't take credit for the lyrics. They were written by a guy named Nick. Check the song out in the "Hear the Music" section.

05/31/00 I guess you've noticed that the new album isn't out and that I have no new songs on MP3.com. Very perceptive, you are. I'll get around to it someday, I guess.

03/20/00 I now have a page up at MP3.com. There you can listen to five songs from the Instrumentals album. I put links up in "Hear the Music" and "Links" sections.

The new album is coming together slowly. I should have three or four new songs done in the next couple of weeks. I will add them to MP3.com as I get them ready.

02/18/00 All sections are open now. I'm going to try to get some more MP3s and MIDIs up as soon as possible. I'm also going to stick up some links to some of the MIDI sequencers and WAVE manipulation programs I use.

If you would like to be notified about changes to the site or the future happenings of 3 Minute Difference, send me an email and ask to be put on the mailing list.

02/16/00 Hey Hey! The site is up!

Spatter here. First off, I'd like to welcome you to the site and thank you for taking an interest in 3 Minute Difference. I hope that you are using Internet Explorer and have Windows Media Player on your machine. If not you might want to look into it. It will make your visit easier.

Hopefully you hear music right now. When the site loads, a random file is loaded into Windows Media Player for you to hear. If you want to hear a specific song choose "Hear the Music" from the menu. Enjoy.
